Congratulations to Philadelphia University

Stanev Potts is excited to collaborate with Philadelphia University as part of a curriculum initiative to blend academic and real-world experience. The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) granted the initiative over $34,000 to explore innovative technologies integrating architectural textile composites for building envelopes.

The proposed Interdisciplinary Design and Experimental Architecture Studio (IDEAS) program integrates our professional expertise into their cross-disciplinary explorations of emerging technologies, materials, and environmental issues.

The importance of integrating professional practice with architectural education is often discussed, but rarely addressed in a manner as promising as that proposed by IDEAS. This synergistic bridge program is the type of groundbreaking initiative we,at Stanev Potts Architects, like to pursue in order to meet our mission of advancing innovation and the practice of architecture. Our ultimate goal is to improve human wellbeing through our chosen profession. The aims of IDEAS are geared toward the same goals. We are thrilled to be a part of the evolution of this program.

Again, many congratulations to Philadelphia University, Kihong Ku, Christian Jordan, Marcia Weiss, and Lyn Godley!
